Drummer MORTEN TOFT HANSEN Leaves HATESPHERE
May 28, 2003Drummer Morten Toft Hansen has left Danish death-thrashers HATESPHERE in order to focus all his time and energy on RAUNCHY. "I would like to thank the guys in HATESPHERE for all the fun we had together, especially the tour with THE HAUNTED and MASTODON," Morten said in a statement. "I would also like to thank the crew, the bands we've played with, and finally the fans. I wish HATESPHERE good luck in the future, and I will remain a fan of the band. My last concert with HATESPHERE will be Wednesday the 28th of May at Fuck The Commerce festival in Germany."
RAUNCHY will be entering producer Jacob Hansen's (INVOCATOR) Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark in July to begin recording their sophomore album, due in late 2003/early 2004 through Nuclear Blast Records. Hansen (no relation to Morten) had previously worked with the group on their spectacular 2002 debut, "Velvet Noise".
